School Bank

 

Our local schools can particpate in “School Bank,” a special program designed to educate children about managing money.

 

A banking booth serves as the “branch” for the school. Students work as tellers and branch managers at the banks, under the guidance of bank representatives and school volunteers. The School Bank accepts deposits on the designated banking day.

 

Students receive a check at the end of the school year for the amount they saved, plus interest.
